M.I.A's Born Free - Fantastic Video

M.I.A´s new video "Born Free" is more of a short movie with a theme than a song with a music video. There's no official info about this track yet, but one can assume it'll be included on the upcoming, yet-untitled, M.I.A. record. This is due June 29 and a political message is clearly there. The M.I.A. Born Free video is directed by Roman Gavras.

This video is definately not suited for children or sensitive people. Though it's well worth a look if you can take it..

Depeche Mode behind the scenes video

Serching through youtube I came across these vids that I hadn't seen before. Its a behind the scenes video showing the Depeche Mode gang in LA when they prepare for the MTV Video Awards. Jamming in the limo, playing cricket on the parking lot, having some beers and checking out the Fat Boys.

Adorable girl loves Aphex Twin

Found this little clip on Youtube, geat job by IDMWEIGHTSIDM. It shows Aphex Twin can appeal to all ages. Extremely cute little girl! A bit scary to...

Extremely cool video projections

Well, this isn't mainly about sound or synth, but anyway. These projections are so cool that you have to see them.

"We got invited along to do some video mapping projections at a secret festival in the North East of England. The theme and logo of the party was the heart. We spent a couple of weeks in the studio creating the show which opened the party."

Jarre on LSD

I'd like to think that this is what Jarre sees when he's on LSD (I'm not saying that he is)

Synth blog tip#1: Mention Jean Michel Jarre in a post and you'll get more views. Sad but true.

I Have Synth

Biography:

Been into synthesizers for 15 years, but never a technical geek. I'm a member of the band Velours Perfect, and have had electronic music as a hobby since I stopped playing with G.I Joe Figures. I buy and sell synths all the time, sometimes manically, and my favourite synth varies, right now it is the Alesis Ion. On this blog you can read about whatever comes out of my mind, mostly synthesizer-related stuff though. Bzzt!

I'm also on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and off course Ihavesynth.
